Under a Blue Moon at Powell Gardens or "A Master Class in How a Pot Should be Planted"

We recently donated a bunch of our pots to Powell Gardens for use in their annual “Under a Blue Moon” rare plant auction.
Given their national reputation, and given the astounding beauty of their grounds, we expected that they would do a tremendous job in planting our flower pots, but were blown away by the final results. They really did a terrific job of combining multiple plants into a single container, while emphasizing the height and color of each plant in the pot. For those of you who create high-end plantings in your shops, this is exactly how it should be done.
We were honored to have been asked to participate in this event, and we look forward to an ongoing cooperation with our local botanical garden. Photos follow of a few of our favorite plantings:
