A couple of pots from our Recycled Re:Treads™ collection were recently featured on a German gardening show after their appearance at a trade show there.
These pots are getting an incredible reaction at retail, especially in urban areas and college towns. Consumers are using them in a million different ways, from toting firewood to storing shoes to holding chilled beer and ice. They are hand-made from used tires, which have the steel belting stripped out, have the tread mostly shaved off, and are then sewn into a range of vessel shapes using leather-working tools. Each piece is totally unique, and includes a hang tag which explains the story behind the pots. These pots are functional conversation pieces for your green-motivated customers.
